About the Position

The role forms partnerships with Executive members and provides strategic advice to the Director, Health Committees, Clinical Streams, and forums. The position also collaborates in the provision of relevant services at a hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a service line to align with the vision and priorities of a health service and its partner organisation.
  • Provide effective leadership to the service line and support senior clinical and administrative staff to achieve operational objectives.
  • Provide authoritative advice to Executives and committees in the strategic development and management of clinical services.
  • Collaborate with Executives and clinicians from across the state in the development of system level guidance and strategies for relevant services.
  • Lead the strategic and operational planning for the service line, including expansion programs.
