Event Services Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Services Team Leader to join our dynamic team at the National Convention Centre Canberra. Our events range from innovative gala dinners to large-scale conferences, requiring exceptional leadership skills to ensure their smooth execution.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer focus, adaptability, and responsibility, with the ability to lead a team through set-up and pack-down procedures. Experience in team leadership is an advantage, but not essential. The successful applicant will be required to provide training when needed and contribute to the overall success of the Event Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Event Services Team on shift and delegate tasks effectively
  • Provide training and guidance to team members as required
  • Ensure the smooth execution of events, including setup and pack-down procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Experience leading a team (advantageous)
  • Australian Working Rights
