About the Role

As a Senior Business Partner, you will oversee diverse duties vital to financial operations, ensuring precision, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing fortnightly reports summarising key financial metrics and trends.
  • Preparing accurate and complete monthly financial reports in a timely manner.
  • Conducting monthly Gross Profit reconciliation and accruals, escalating areas of concern to the CFO/CEO.
  • Collaborating with the CFO to review financial results and identify areas for improvement or concern.
  • Managing Slow Moving and Obsolete Stock (SMOBS) reporting, implementing strategies to minimise financial impact.
  • Coordinating stock reconciliation processes and conducting periodic stock-takes.
  • Performing quarterly fully absorbed Gross Profit analysis.
  • Reviewing supplier invoices and setting pricing parameters, updating price lists based on market conditions.
  • Supporting budgeting processes and collaborating with department heads to align financial goals.
  • Conducting forecasting activities, projecting financial performance based on market trends.
  • Managing the fixed assets register, including creating fixed accounts, writing off and disposing of assets, and monthly depreciation reporting.
  • Reviewing and approving Purchase Orders in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Providing business insights and financial analysis as requested by executive management.
  • Being an integral part of the Cloud Business Central (BC) implementation Project Team.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or equivalent, and CA, CPA, or CMA qualification. Previous experience in finance management within a corporate environment is essential. You should have a strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and be proficient in a range of accounting and financial packages.
