Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Nurse Practitioner/Transitional Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NSW Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing comprehensive care to children with learning and development needs.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, management, and care to children accessing the School Aged Children with Learning and Development needs (SALAD) Clinic. This will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and school wellbeing nurses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care and assessment to children with learning and development needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to improve adherence to treatment plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Advanced nursing qualifications and experience in paediatric care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
