We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators for our production team at South Walker Creek Mine in the Bowen Basin.
Golding Contractors, a successful mining contractor, is providing management services to the coal industry in the region. With over 10 years of experience in operating and maintaining production and maintenance services on site, we are committed to upholding safety standards above all else.
As an operator with us, you will join a team that prioritizes respect for both people, equipment, and the environment in all aspects of their work.
About the Role- Permanent full-time position including paid sick and annual leave
- 7/7 day/night roster with 12.5 hour shifts starting Tuesday and finishing Monday
- Fortnightly pay cycle with 11.5% Superannuation paid on all hours worked
- Accommodation and meals provided
- Company bus transportation from Mackay to camp and return
- Salary Sacrifice Flights available from Brisbane to Mackay
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy mining machinery, including:
- Dump Trucks (CAT 789, Electric Komatsu 830E)
- Water Cart (CAT 777, 785)
- Grader (16 to 24)
- Dozer (D10, D11)
- Excavator (Hitachi 3600 to 5600, or equivalent)
- Loaders (992, 994)
Please note that this is not a New To Industry role, and applicants must have passed out and operated in a production mining environment to be considered.
