Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Water Well Driller to lead and supervise drill crews in the operation of Foremost DR24HD drill rigs. The successful candidate will be responsible for drilling and constructing water bores, ensuring the continuous operation of the rig, and maintaining assets to operational capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate drill rig and support equipment in accordance with OEM specifications and established procedures.
  • Drill and construct water bores as per scope of work requirements.
  • Identify consumables and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operation of the rig.
  • Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with company values.
  • Adhere to Zero Harm principles on a daily basis.
  • Meet daily operational targets and strive to increase process efficiency.
  • Maintain assets to operational capacity and effectively supervise drill crews.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • WA MC Driver's Licence.
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
  • Schedule 26 – Statutory supervisor (desirable).
  • RIIVEH305F Operate and Maintain a Four-Wheel Drive Vehicle.
  • Work Safe WA High Risk work Licence - FL, DG, CN.
  • Extensive Foremost DR24HD experience or similar.
  • Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Class 1 or 2 Waterwell Driller's Licence – RA or RM endorsement.
  • Certificate III and IV in Drilling Operations.
  • Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs.
  • Basic mechanical Knowledge.
  • Ability to lead multiple teams.
