About You

To be successful in this role, you will have over 5 years of experience in transport or supply chain management within the FMCG industry. Your strong analytical skills and understanding of integrated supply chain components will enable you to make data-driven decisions and optimize operational processes. You will excel at building effective relationships, working autonomously, and managing multiple transport management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate volume forecasting and fleet capacity planning for all internal and external stakeholders, covering both business-as-usual (BAU) and peak periods.
  • Collaborate with distribution centres and carrier partners to optimize fleet and time slot capacity based on projected network volumes.
  • Coordinate event planning activities, including public holidays, peak seasons, scheduled track outages, and promotional events.
  • Develop system, reporting, and process enhancements to support continuous improvement in operational planning.
  • Provide accurate service reporting and manage historical service data, ensuring comprehensive insights into performance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in transport and/or supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across various business levels.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, make timely decisions, and plan for long-term goals.
  • Experience managing multiple transport management systems.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain components and strong analytical capabilities.
