- Take Orders: Accurately describe menu items, answer questions, and take orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and present them according to standard.
- Check on Guests: Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the area clean and well-organized, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.
- Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
- Handle Payments: Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
- Upsell and Promote: Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests' experience.
- Handle Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability.
- Safety and Hygiene: Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
