Electrical Engineering Specialist Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in design, development, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing electrical and automation systems using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Commissioning and testing electrical and automation systems to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and automation systems into larger projects.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering, and applying this knowledge to improve processes and systems.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in the design, development, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC development using TIA Portal, as well as experience in the design, configuration, and development of WinCC OA.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, I/O schedules, and network diagrams.
Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Mature PLC coding methodology.
  • Mature SCADA design methodology.
  • Mature process improvement capability.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, and serial communications.
