We are seeking a passionate and caring Home Care Assistant to join our team in the Dubbo region. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide general household tasks, transport clients to appointments and shopping, prepare meals, provide social support or respite for family/carers, and assist with personal care such as showering and dressing if qualified/fully trained.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
