Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker to make a genuine difference in the lives of older Australians. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes.

This role involves providing daily living assistance, helping clients with eating, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks. You will also engage in meaningful activities with clients, such as reading, puzzles, or music.

About the Role:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to older Australians in their homes.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication reminders and prescribed exercises.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of older adults' needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic cooking skills and ability to prepare meals safely.
  • Medication administration training and experience.
