Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll function for non-salary employees nationally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process company wages payrolls (weekly and fortnightly)
  • Maintain payroll system integrity - Templa
  • Ensure accuracy in time and attendance records - Deputy/Timegate
  • Onboard new hires, update and maintain payroll records
  • Liaise with internal staff and management on payroll-related queries
  • Manage payroll adjustments (manual process)
  • Calculate portable LSL provisions/accruals
  • Deliver accurate and timely payroll reporting

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills, demonstrated ability to interpret relevant awards and statutory requirements, confidence in handling and resolving pay discrepancies, previous experience with multiple systems, strong computer skills including Excel and MS Office Suite, and strong communication & relationship management abilities.
