About the Role:

  • Conducting comprehensive audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement

  • Providing expert advice on governance, risk management, and internal controls to inform strategic decision-making

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve Internal Audit objectives and enhance the Council's control environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Significant knowledge and experience in conducting complex audits and assessments

  • A proven track record in providing value-added advice related to governance, risk management, and internal controls

  • Previous experience in a leadership or advisory role is highly desirable
