Leadership Role for Passionate Educator

A vibrant, multicultural school in Sydney's North-West is seeking an experienced and innovative Assistant Principal to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with a proven track record of collaborative leadership, interpersonal skills, and commitment to excellence in student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading teams to improve student learning outcomes through data analysis, collaborative planning, and formative assessment practices.
  • Mentoring and inspiring teachers through sustained professional learning to improve student learning outcomes.
  • Balancing the role of an exemplary classroom teacher with that of an Assistant Principal in a large school.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Successful teaching experience with capacity for improvement
  • Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare
  • Leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and manage resources effectively
  • Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policies
