The Clinical Nurse Facilitator will provide education and support to new staff members transitioning from sub-acute nursing to acute nursing through an Entry to Acute Care Program (EACP). This program will run for 6 weeks, during which the Clinical Facilitator will provide supernumerary support to the EACP members to fast track their transition into acute care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide education and support to new staff members
- Work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager/s to support the EACP members
- Facilitate education in a variety of settings, including individual, group, and simulation
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- AHPRA Registration
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently, and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
