Job Description

As a dedicated and ambitious professional, you will be responsible for fostering partnerships between schools, employers, and industry leaders to provide students with valuable work experience and career opportunities. Your role will involve sourcing Australian School Based Apprenticeships (ASBA) opportunities, promoting the benefits of technical education, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source ASBA opportunities for prospective students by actively seeking placements in industry and potential apprenticeships.
  • Promote and market the benefits of technical education to potential employers and stakeholders, positioning School Based Apprenticeships as a preferred career pathway.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, training providers, and apprenticeship support agencies.
  • Form connections and develop partnerships between schools and employers to assist students in transitioning to employment and making effective career choices.
  • Source vocational training opportunities for prospective students by actively seeking placements in transition to work programs.
  • Provide regular updates on program outcomes and help identify issues impacting success.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans, promotional materials, and communication strategies.
  • Work directly with schools, government, industry, business, and community groups to form productive partnerships and develop networks.
  • Develop and manage the work experience placement program, including monitoring students, arranging visits, and managing records and data.
Mandatory Requirements

A current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services is required when working in regulated employment.
