About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer Companion to join our team at Bupa Aged Care in Barrabool. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, lifestyle, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate admissions and respond to queries and concerns from residents and their families.
  • Advise new residents of additional services available and ensure services are delivered.
  • Complete meal service with new residents, escorting them to the dining room and ensuring they understand the meal service process.

Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate 3 qualification in Ageing, Individual Support, Care, or Disability.
  • A passion for delivering world-class care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a tight-knit team and delegate tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
