About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer Companion to join our team at Bupa Aged Care in Barrabool. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, lifestyle, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support to new residents, ensuring a smooth transition into our aged care setting.
  • Coordinate admissions and respond to queries and concerns from residents and their families.
  • Advise new residents of available services and ensure they are delivered.
  • Assist with meal service and escort residents to the dining room.

Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate 3 qualification in Ageing, Individual Support, Care, or Disability.
  • Passion and energy for delivering world-class care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
