Social Activities Enrichment Officer

Deliver a high-quality activities program in this rewarding role to enhance the quality and enjoyment of life for residents.
About the Role- Develop and deliver social events and activities that appeal to residents and benefit their mental health and quality of life.
- Work with the wellbeing manager to curate a tailored calendar of social events and experiences.
- Assist the care team with the delivery of social activities.
- SUPPORT THE ORIENTATION AND TRAINING OF VOLUNTEERS.
- Develop relationships with volunteers to attend and/or host social events.
- Support community engagement, social impact, and sustainability initiatives.
- BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH RESIDENTS, FAMILIES, AND TEAM MEMBERS.
- Tertiary qualification in event management or relevant field (desirable).
- Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) or relevant qualification (desirable).
- Experience in event delivery and activities.
- Experience in aged care (desirable).
- Event coordinator or team engagement experience.
Note: All applicants must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical check, police clearance, and NDIS worker's clearance.
