Job Title:

Senior Software Engineering Lead

Our company is looking for a senior software engineering lead to oversee our team of engineers and provide guidance and support to help them succeed every day. This role involves working closely with engineers and product managers to deliver our roadmap and keeping excellent communication lines with team members to keep them engaged and motivated.

  • Provide technical leadership and vision to the engineering team.
  • Develop and implement processes and best practices that foster collaboration and innovation among team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and develop new features and improvements for our products.
  • Define product requirements and translate requests into actionable tasks.
  • Own team's products fully and ensure priorities are met by their deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Technically strong, with a history of successfully shipping products into production.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, from engineering to product to stakeholder teams.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to break down a request into actionable tasks.
  • Critical thinker, able to break down complex problems and work with ambiguity.
  • Organized, self-starter with proactive attitude.
  • Ability to independently manage workload.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to motivate a team and build consensus for decisions.
  • Strong collaborative attitude.
