Role Overview
A professional with expertise in non-destructive inspection techniques is sought after to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various inspections, including Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, Liquid/Fluid Penetrant, Eddy Current, Radiography, Hardness, and Conductivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections on aircraft structures using the aforementioned techniques.
- Create comprehensive reports detailing defects, encompassing data transfer, image preparation, creation, and formatting.
- Collaborate with management to investigate maintenance or servicing concerns and propose viable solutions.
- Work closely with the AME Structures Supervisor and participate in Line and Heavy Non-Destructive Inspection on C-27J Spartan aircraft.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship is required due to Defence security clearance needs.
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may impact nationality suitability.
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, police checks, and employment screening verification are necessary.
