The role of the Senior Tax Manager is pivotal in overseeing global tax compliance, reporting, and advisory functions within a multinational corporate group.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of statutory Australian compliance obligations, encompassing corporate income tax, GST/BAS, FBT, and other fiscal requirements.
- Oversee international corporate tax filings and ensure seamless management of statutory tax calculations and reporting.
A key success factor lies in your extensive experience across Australian tax compliance, strategic tax advisory, governance, and transaction support.
Responsibilities- Monitor legislative changes globally to provide timely tax insights supporting decision making and risk mitigation.
- Support external audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
- Deliver ongoing efficiency gains through automation and system improvements.
- Assist in evaluating tax implications of M&A, financing, and cross-border operations.
- Provide M&A/transaction support.
- Qualified degree and professional certifications such as CA/CPA or membership with the Tax Institute are beneficial.
- Strong technical expertise in Australian tax law and broad exposure to transfer pricing and international tax issues.
- Background in a multinational corporate group or strong commercial acumen in a professional services environment.
