About the Role

Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking an experienced Master Plumber to join their team in a permanent full-time basis working a 9-day fortnight.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks to Mater Health Services facilities as directed, ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health, safety, and welfare legislation, as well as demonstrated experience in building hydraulics maintenance.

You will also have a good understanding of servicing, testing, and replacement of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) and backflow prevention devices.

The successful applicant will work autonomously, providing quality technical skills and knowledge to ensure all work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing and Drainage or higher
  • Current full Occupational Plumbing and Drainage Licence
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $43.36 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation, based on industry standards.
