Main Responsibilities:

  1. Disassemble and inspect Minerals Processing Equipment
  2. Restore Minerals Processing Equipment to operational condition
  3. Modify Minerals Processing Equipment as required
  4. Install and repair items according to approved procedures and drawings
  5. Assemble plant equipment
  6. Execute workshop duties as assigned by Leaders
  7. Complete all allocated work as part of on-the-job training supplied by 309 FLSmidth Pty. Ltd.
  8. Comply with legislative requirements and company policies/procedures
  9. Represent 309 FLSmidth Pty. Ltd. in a professional manner

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Trade Certificate in Fitting
  2. Previous experience with repair and maintenance of Minerals Processing Equipment, particularly Crushers, Vibrating Screens, and Gearboxes
  3. Basic Welding skills
  4. Effective oral and written communication skills
  5. A team player approach
  6. Good interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (relevant training will be funded if required)
  8. Forklift License
  9. Drivers license
