About the Role

We are seeking a talented Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping our clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop effective rehabilitation plans to support clients in achieving their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and develop programs to support clients in achieving maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Australian recognised degree qualifications and registration in Psychology/Provisional Psychology or Rehab Counselling (AHPRA/ASORC).
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives in tangible ways.
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
  • Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's license and access to own vehicle).
  • Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
