Job Title: Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at IPAR. As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a key role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

About the Role:

As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing case management services to clients with workplace injuries or illnesses;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working with employers and employees to identify and address psychosocial barriers to employment;
  • Completing assessments and developing treatment plans to support clients in achieving return to work outcomes;
  • Collaborating with medical and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care;
  • Providing education and support to clients, employers, and other stakeholders to promote workplace health and safety.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry;
  • Fabulous communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, employers, and other stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support;
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
