About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Youth Worker to join our team at Lifestyle Solutions. As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in out-of-home care, providing them with the care and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health support, including administering and documenting medication and following health support plans
  • Offer active support, such as meal preparation, dressing, transportation, social outings, and planning for and achieving daily goals
  • Implement positive behaviour support, managing behaviours, triggers, and escalations
  • Ensure the safety of both yourself and the young person, documenting and reporting as necessary
Requirements
  • Demonstrated motivation to work with young people
  • Availability to work rotating rosters, including weekends and overnights
  • Current paid working with children check (or willingness to apply)
  • National police check
  • Valid driver's license
  • First aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Qualification: hold or be working towards a relevant diploma or degree
