About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our outdoor spaces team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our gardens and green spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks such as: planting, weeding, pruning, and watering.
  • Maintain outdoor spaces: mow lawns, trim edges, and care for turf areas.
  • Prepare soil and plant beds: prepare soil, mulch, and plant beds for optimal growth.
  • Operate and maintain equipment: operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe work environment: adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Previous experience: previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Physical demands: ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Weather conditions: willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Work ethic: strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Teamwork: ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Validations: valid Drivers License, White Card, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
