Job Description

The role of Cybersecurity Network Specialist plays a pivotal part in the mid to large-scale network security operations team. Our team focuses on maintaining a secure environment that protects our data and systems from unauthorized access.

  • We install, configure and upgrade hardware, systems and software for networks ensuring they meet high standards of performance and reliability.
  • Management of network and security performance involves monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement to optimize performance.
  • Risk assessment and management are essential at every aspect of work to ensure we minimize threats and maximize benefits.
  • We secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access to protect sensitive information.
  • Cybersecurity Network Specialists undertake project design and architecture work, like high-level and detailed design work to improve our infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate to professional knowledge in coding/scripting, specifically in Python, and expertise in scripting for database queries. They will also have experience with DevOps tools such as BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault, and network security technologies including F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures across our network, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and develop solutions to mitigate them.
