Defence Project Hydraulic Systems Specialist

The successful candidate will play a key role in the procurement and delivery of defence projects involving hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Review hydraulic designs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery and quality of hydraulic components and materials during construction.
- Manage quality assurance for all hydraulic systems, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Monitor project timelines, budget allocations, and resource use to meet project milestones efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- At least 3 years' experience in construction, preferably in Australia, with a focus on water hydraulics
- Strong understanding of hydraulic design, construction processes, and installations.
- Ability to manage procurement for hydraulic systems and quality assurance.
- Good knowledge of Australian standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
