Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Hydraulic Service Technician/Fitter. This is a hands-on role offering diverse and engaging work across our modern workshop and client sites throughout South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems with attention to safety and quality standards.
  • Overhaul and bench test pumps, motors, and cylinders to ensure optimal performance.
  • Design, build, upgrade, test, and commission hydraulic power units to meet industry requirements.
  • Perform hydraulic tube forming, pipe fitting, and hose assembly with precision and efficiency.
  • Carry out general fabrication and machining tasks using metalworking skills and knowledge.
  • Support workshop operations and maintenance activities to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Diagnose and repair closed-loop transmission and electro-hydraulic systems in collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate in a relevant Engineering/Mechanical Trade (e.g., Fitting & Machining or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance).
  • Strong hands-on experience in maintenance fitting with a focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • General metal fabrication skills including welding, cutting, and shaping.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent time management and self-motivation skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork principles.
  • A desire for continuous learning and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
