Academic Lecturer

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Lecturer to join our team at the University of New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver courses and programs in Behaviour Change and Sports Psychology
- Contribute to content development and delivery in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology programs
- Collaborate with discipline leads and other academics to drive educational excellence
- Design and implement educational technologies and online delivery methods
- Develop and maintain discipline knowledge and expertise
- Support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
- PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change)
- Demonstrated experience in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change, and/or health or sport psychology
- Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development
- Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses and programs
- Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods
- Demonstrated experience with industry and work-integrated learning
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills
- Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values
- Knowledge of health & safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
