Job Title: Skilled Machinist Leader

A challenging position is available for a seasoned Workshop Machining Supervisor to oversee a team of Fitters/Machinists at our Geraldton workshop.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead and supervise 3 skilled Machinists/Fitters in our Geraldton workshops, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.
  • To manage multiple priorities effectively, guaranteeing timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Supervise workshop and site activities safely, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals, providing design input, estimating, and innovation support.
  • Assist with employee scheduling, quality control management, and paperwork as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a supervisor or leading hand, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Trade Certificate (Fitting & Machining).
  • Construction Industry White Card.
  • Current Police Clearance obtained within the past 12 months.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Geraldton based or willing to relocate.
Desirable Skills:
  • High Risk LF, Dogging, WAH, EWP, MR Truck Licence.
  • Experience with quality control management and paperwork.
  • Familiarity with safe work systems, OHS, and mining standards.
