Salary Details

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $90,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a highly competitive rate, plus penalties and incentives that reward our people for their hard work and dedication.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our dynamic team in Rocklea. Your expertise will play a vital role in keeping our vehicles on the road. As a crucial member of our maintenance crew, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of fleets to repair electrical issues with precision.

Your key responsibilities will include diagnosis and fault finding in the electrical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service. You will also be responsible for auto electrical work on all 12- or 24-volt systems, servicing trucks and equipment in accordance with maintenance procedure and workshop manual, and ensuring accurate paperwork completion.

In addition, you will be expected to grow the efficiency of servicing, repairs and maintenance, and maintain a safe and clean workspace. If you have a proven ability to maintain equipment and machinery, including trucks, and sound electrical knowledge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an Auto Electrician, along with an Australian recognized Automotive Electrician Trade Qualification. You must also have unlimited Australian work rights, a strong commitment to safety practices, good physical fitness for heavy lifting and working in various positions, and the ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
