The a2 Milk Company seeks a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join its team in McMahons Point, NSW. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring security measures to protect the company's computer networks, systems, and sensitive information.
About the RoleThis is an entry-level position that requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with multiple levels within the business, and fundamental knowledge of networking, computing, and infrastructure security mechanisms and controls.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity alerts from various sources to ensure timely detection, response, and mitigation of potential threats.
- Respond to security events and incidents based on business priority.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of security processes, particularly with respect to sensitive personal information.
- Work collaboratively with the managed service provider (MSSP) on day-to-day cybersecurity interactions to ensure effective outcomes.
- Assist the IT team and third parties with the implementation and operation of our cybersecurity technologies.
- Develop and maintain proactive cybersecurity reports to inform and guide management.
- Participate in cyber incident management activities, including identification, documentation, and resolution of cybersecurity incidents.
- As an entry-level role, prior experience isn't expected; however, cyber analyst or cyber operations work placement experience while studying would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with many levels within the business and with third parties.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking, computing, and infrastructure security mechanisms and controls.
- Strong understanding of public cloud-based architectures and environments including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Broad technology knowledge across software ecosystems and interrogating and remediating audit logs.
- Strong understanding of modern approaches to identity and access management.
- Strong communication, analytical, and trouble-shooting skills.
- The ability to think outside the square and the ability and confidence to source your own answers within the process.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
