Job Summary: We are seeking a high-performing individual to join our team as a Civil Engineering Lead in the Structures unit. As a senior civil engineer, you will lead and participate in activities that include design review, asset monitoring and assessment, structural and material assurance activities and technical governance.

About the Role: In this role, you will draw on your comprehensive civil/structural engineering experience to ensure departmental structural assets are managed over their full life cycle and optimised to deliver value for-money, robust and fit-for-purpose infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading the development of improvements relating to construction, durability and rehabilitation of structures including quality assurance and review work.

About You: To perform the role effectively, you will demonstrate proactive and responsive leadership and team management as well as interface regularly with various colleagues, clients and stakeholders both within our organisation and private industry. You will employ high level communication and project / program management skills as well as sound negotiation and organisational skills.
