Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled teacher to fill the role of Leading Teacher. This position involves leading and managing the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives, curriculum planning and delivery, and staff performance and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans and programs that meet the needs of all students.
- Provide professional development and coaching to teaching staff to improve their practice and student outcomes.
- Lead and manage staff performance and development, including the review of staff performance and the development of individual and team development plans.
- Contribute to the development of proposals for school council consideration.
Requirements
- Provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum planning and delivery.
- Proven ability to lead and manage staff performance and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve school goals.
