About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Genius AI Engineer to join our team at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a key member of our Gen AI Domain, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing large-scale AI solutions that transform the way we engage with our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative AI solutions that drive personalized experiences for our customers and employees
  • Lead the development of domain-owned platforms and frameworks for leveraging broad Gen AI capabilities across the bank
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence and educate them on modern best practices in AI solution design and implementation
  • Drive the adoption of reliability, testing practices, and responsible AI within the team
  • Mentor and coach other team members to normalize best practices and hard-earned learnings
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep mastery of software engineering principles and practices
  • Extensive hands-on experience in building AI-enabled software and applications from the ground up
  • A strong customer-obsessed mindset to drive the Gen AI transformation work
  • Hands-on software engineering experience/leadership, cloud solution development/security/IaaC (AWS + Azure), Python/TypeScript/C#, growth mindset, and DevSecOps thinking
