As an Occupational Therapist on our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering life-changing occupational therapy services to NDIS participants across the lifespan in the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality occupational therapy services, utilizing evidence-based practices and assessment tools to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each participant's needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers, to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and stakeholders to promote understanding and engagement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • General AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Valid driver's license and NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
