We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Inclusion Support Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting new full-time opportunity in a growing not-for-profit organisation. As an Inclusion Support Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the implementation and delivery of high-quality programs across our network of services.

You will need:

  • Passion and drive for equity within Early Childhood Learning
  • A caring but proactive nature
  • Experience with children with additional needs
  • Experience with children aged 0-8

The main objectives of the role are:

  • To identify the strengths, capacity and capability of educators to ensure that support provided is tailored to individual educator and service needs.
  • To work to promote a clear understanding of inclusion, which focuses on all children being seen as capable and contributing in their environment.
  • To work closely with colleagues, health and medical specialists, school diverse learning teams as well as external support agencies to deliver quality support in accordance with our Inclusion Support Program (ISP) Guidelines.

Essential requirements for the role include:

  • A university qualification in Education (early/middle childhood) and/or Special Education specialisation
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • A current NSW driver's licence and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check clearance number
  • Demonstrated 5 years of teaching experience
  • Proven experience within a broad range of Inclusion Support settings
