About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) team in Blacktown. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all aspects of diesel and electric vehicle mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel and electric vehicle mechanical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance servicing and repairs
  • Work on a variety of tasks, including steering and suspension repairs, electrical faults, and braking systems diagnosis and repairs
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and safe working practices
What We Offer
  • Market leading hourly rate between $34-$49 per hour base (Plus shift penalty, plus super, plus OT) dependent on experience
  • Variety of shifts + shift loadings
  • Market leading $49.09 weekly tool allowance
  • Full time roles, Monday to Friday with weekend overtime available (paid at OT rate)
  • Yearly boot allowance, all uniforms supplied and washed for you

  • Ongoing training to grow your skills, including Electrical Vehicle certification
