Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) team in Sydney West (Blacktown). As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all aspects of diesel and electric vehicle mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair diesel and electric vehicle mechanical systems, including steering and suspension repairs, electrical faults, braking systems diagnosis and repairs, component overhauls, driveline repairs, and preventative maintenance servicing and repairs.
- Work on our iconic brands – Mack, UD, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses – and develop your technical skills working with Australia's most innovative range of products.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure safe and efficient vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Market leading hourly rate between $34-$49 per hour base (Plus shift penalty, plus super, plus OT) dependent on experience.
- Variety of shifts + shift loadings.
- Market leading $49.09 weekly tool allowance.
- Full time roles, Monday to Friday with weekend overtime available (paid at OT rate).
- Yearly boot allowance, all uniforms supplied and washed for you.
- Modern facilities that continually undergo regular upgrades.
- Ongoing training to grow your skills, including Electrical Vehicle certification.
