Job Title

  • This role involves reviewing, improving, and maintaining our risk management system and business continuity framework.
About the Role

You will be responsible for providing advice to our leadership on identification, assessment, and preparation for disruption risks to support business continuity.

  • Your primary responsibilities include formulating initiatives, programs, and frameworks in areas of risk and business continuity management.
  • You will deliver strategic and operational risk management and business continuity planning advice to senior leaders, enabling us to respond to emerging priorities and broader organisational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Creating and integrating business continuity plans, including conducting regular testing and implementing continuous improvement actions.
  2. Conducting risk assessments, providing feedback to responsible areas, and ensuring proper maintenance of related records and operating frameworks.
  3. Ensuring cross-organisational, interrelated, and interdependent plans are effectively managed.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess a tertiary qualification and/or relevant extensive experience.

  • Expertise in risk management, risk standards, and assessment techniques (including ISO31000:2018) is essential.
  • You will have knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment, corporate governance, and change drivers.
  • Strong experience in risk management and business continuity planning is required.
