Cloud Application Architect

Uptec is a specialist Microsoft Partner helping enterprise and government customers build secure, intelligent, and scalable solutions on Azure.

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to deliver cutting-edge application and AI solutions across our customer base.

In this role, you will work on modern cloud application architectures using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and a wide range of Azure AI and data services such as OpenAI, AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, Cognitive Services, and more.

You will collaborate with enterprise customers to design and implement solutions that unlock value through intelligent automation, secure data access, and scalable cloud-native designs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with customers, and shaping real-world Azure solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure AI and data services.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, lead workshops, and produce technical designs.
  • Integrate multiple Azure data and AI services to power intelligent applications.
  • Ensure cloud security, identity, and DevOps deployment practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and event-driven or API-based architectures.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Document Intelligence, and Cognitive Services.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AI-102, DP-203) are desirable.
