As a Structural Drafter at Taylor Thomson Whitting, you will play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revit Drafter to join our team in the Canberra office.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed working drawings from engineers' initial sketch designs.
- Liaise with engineers and architects to ensure seamless coordination and preparation of documentation.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of construction methods and techniques to ensure high-quality designs.
- Manage project correspondence and communication through document management sites.
- Effectively communicate project information to project leaders and team members.
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance processes to ensure exceptional results.
- Manage time efficiently to meet established deadlines.
About You
- Relevant TAFE qualifications and/or extensive experience in structural drafting.
- At least 3-4 years' experience, including apprenticeships if applicable.
- Working knowledge of Revit and proficiency in BCA and Australian Standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
