Job Title: Clinical Educator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) who is committed to the ongoing professional development of our staff. You will have a strong focus on nursing education and a drive to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff in our Residential Care Facilities across the Northern NSW region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education resources that reflect best practice
  • Support the development of clinical competencies aligned to Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards, resident needs, and organisational requirements
  • Develop and implement competency-based assessment frameworks
  • Provide clinical teaching and facilitation skills to staff
  • Supervise clinical practice, mentor, and coach care teams
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical education setting
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and how they apply to the clinical teaching environment
  • Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills including knowledge of competency frameworks and assessment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to RSL LifeCare Residential Care and Home Care sites
