Periodical Team Lead

This challenging role sees you lead a team of cleaning specialists and make a real impact at one of Australia's busiest airports.

We are recruiting for a Periodical Coordinator/Scheduler on a Full-Time basis. This exciting position will see you provide leadership and management skills to oversee the day-to-day operations across various locations at Brisbane Airport.

The Role

  • Oversee periodical work orders and planning, ensuring seamless operations
  • Ensure safety and compliance requirements are met for staff, equipment, and property
  • Manage ongoing periodical works including high dusting, facade cleaning, pressure washing, floor deep cleaning
  • Produce timely and effective information, work permits, and reporting
  • Schedule and plan works to meet deadlines and requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and integrity to work as part of a senior management team
  • Deliver excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers and staff
  • Work closely with key personnel from BAC
  • Act in accordance with all policies and procedures

Key Skills

  • Experience with periodic cleaning activities
  • Ability to understand complex Cleaning and Minor Maintenance contracts and deliver on key performance areas
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and customer service
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Demonstrated experience in managing workplace health & safety matters
  • Australian Citizen or hold valid Right to Work
  • Able to obtain an ASIC (Airport Security Identification Card)
