The Chief Financial Officer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and financial management of the asset management business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process.
  • Manage and develop a finance team across various functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial and management reporting, statutory and tax compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure effective risk management practices.
  • Drive accountability across the team to deliver results and achieve strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Deep strategic financial management experience gained in a high growth corporate environment.
  • Proven track record in managing and developing a finance team with expertise in financial and management reporting, statutory and tax compliance.
  • Ability to create and communicate a shared vision for a team and embed a strong performance culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong executive presence with high emotional intelligence and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Exposure to finance leadership roles within the fund management sector.
  • Understanding of AFSL risk and regulations in Australia/New Zealand, and ability to translate regulation into risk management practices.
