Join a thriving team in the Oil Refining industry as a Mechanical Fitter with our maintenance group on a permanent basis.

This role is to replace a team member who has moved to another project. The ideal candidate will have experience in pump alignment, preservation of rotating and static equipment, and demonstrated expertise in pressure testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pump alignment
  • Preservation of rotating and static equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in pressure testing
  • Asset maintenance background
  • Experience with data assessment, ordering spares and recording (Microsoft Excel)
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified with proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
  • Knowledge of pumps, valves, vessels, pipework, PSV's etc
  • Previous rotating, alignment and hazardous area experience would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Turbines and ancillary equipment
  • Hydro testing
  • Air compressors and associated ancillary equipment
  • Working at heights (within 3 years from issue)
  • Confined space (within 3 years from issue)
  • Willingness and ability to be part of the on call after hours roster
  • Ability to read and interpret Isometrics P&ID's and mechanical drawings
