Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CSSD, ensuring compliance with sterilisation standards and departmental policies.
  • Provide effective leadership, direction, and supervision to the instrument technician team.
  • Collaborate with the Perioperative leadership team to meet the needs and services of our consumers.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services
  • 4 years' experience as an Instrument Technician (full-time equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in all areas of CSSD at an advanced level and provide leadership
  • Proven ability to prioritise competing issues and negotiate timeframes, while providing quality customer service
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
